Are there any programs for ex-felon to receive financial assistance for college?

Question:I have a friend that's enrolled in college, but need assistance for school, and was denied financial assistance. are there any programs out there?

I know there aren't a lot but your friend should look into scholarships. there are some that are only for ex-felons. There are also grants for ex felons. Your friend should check the library for books on grants and scholarships.
