I personally do believe that Corporations have Social Responsibilities because, when we look at the grand scheme of things, these MNC's are what keeps the world economy going.

International Law, Tariffs and Free Trade are examples of how the government, the WTO and other organizations have sought to maintain some level of governance.

The corporation's responsibitily is to it's shareholders. Therefore, it shares the social responsibility of the shareholders, and therefore the executives are bound to the shareholder's social responsibilities.

Example. Walmart's success is an example social responsiblity. They have increased the standard of living in the US significantly, and in so, increased their profit.
If you go to the websites of Wal-Mart, The Home Depot, or especially Coca-Cola they can give you some awesome points and counter points to help you out.
