The so-called SPICC factor aren't commonly taught, so I'm surprised you need to research them. However, they are:

- Suppliers
- Publics
- Intermediaries
- Customers and Markets
- Competition

They refer to factors that are supposed to taken into sketch and analyzed when doing audits. Businesses look at everything within their immediate environment and then also look outside at the overall industry to see how they're fitting up. In marketing, it's important because you need to know how your message is reaching and being received by respectively of those groups. A SPICC analysis will help you determine what more you need to do for those groups in instruct to build a stronger brand.

SWOT is the standard auditing system that's most commonly used, so I would focus more on that. You can find a description of SWOT at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SWOT_analys… You will probably also want to know more about PEST analysis and its countless variants for doing market research; you can revise more at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PEST I really wouldn't worry too much about SPICC since it's so uncommonly used, but it's still good to know what the acronym stands for, so at hand you go. :)
