2 cups is to 6 can as 12 cups is to?

I'm really not getting my math work.
My parents give me the whole..."I was contained by school x amount of years ago, do you really think I remember what I learned pay for then?" speech when i ask for their help.
Please help.

2 cups = 6 can using that ratio, you can also say 1 cup = 3 cans... common denominator is 2. so later 12 cups would equal 12 times 3 cans.

another way, if 12 cups is 6 times more than 2 cups, you must also multiply the cans by 6 to construct the ratio equivalent.

so 12 cups = 36 cans
36 can.

Perhaps homeschooling is not the best option for you.
Should your parents really be homeschooling you? Home school can be good but it isn't for everyone. This is a VERY basic math cross-question and your parents should be able to teach you math up to the 12th grade.
No offense intended. and yes, 36.

2 cups * x = 6 cans.

Divide 2 cups from each side and you gain x=3 cans per cup. Take 12 cups and multiply 3 cans per cup and you receive 36 cups. Hope this helps.
36 can
2 cups = 6 cans
12 cups =36 cans

Reason? 12 cups divided by the original 2 cups mechanism it's 6 times more. So, six times more cans is 6 x 6 and that = 36
2 cups = 6 can
so 1 cup = 3 cans
12 cups = 12*3
12 cups = 36 cans
I see people have a moment ago given you the answer but you need instead to be taught how to reason this out.

if you own 2 cups that is equal to 6 cans (is this volume?) then how tons cans do you need to equal 12 cups? You can figure these things out. Just recompense attention to the instructions.
36 and it's very annoying when parents give the "I can't remember" speech lol
4?
1 bucket!
all right I think its 36
36 cans
36 can

Because 2 x3 = 12

So you times 12 by 3 to keep it in proportion. so 12x 3 = 36.

Hope I helped (:

I think you can set it up as fractions, my math some what fail me too. For example:
2 12
--- = ---
6 X
Hope it helps!
If 2 cups = 6 can, then
12 cups= 36 cans

i think
its effortless

2 cups is to 6 cans is like 2 times 3

so you would take

the 12 cups and times that by 3

witch is 36
36

or

16
36 cans Source(s): im in seventh title lol

2 cups x 3 cups= 6 cans

12 cups x 3 cups= 36 cans
what is one cup to?
