(22,24),(7,9),,,,,, (22,26),(4,8),,,,,, (18,21),(6,9)?

Question:find an equation of the line that contains the given pair of points

Answers:
First find the slope using this equation: Change in y / Change in X (sorry can't type subscripts type the actual equation)

So in the first one 9-24 / 7 - 22 or -15 / -15 = 1

Now that you have the slope, plug in 1of the points for x and y and the slope.

9 = 7(1) + b
9 = 7 + b
-7 |-7
2 = b

So the equation for #1 is y = x + 2 (you can check by plugging in 22 and 24 for X and Y respectively)

Good luck.
