Failing my chemistry regents and earth science? pls HELP.?

Question:hey, i failed my chemistry regents (State exam) unfortunately :(
never failed anything, and now *cries (LOL).
Okay well i only need 2 science regents to graduate, so i already took the biology, which i passed and chem which i failed. If i take the regents for earth science ill probably pass.
so WHAT IS EASIER, IN YOUR opinion (pls give reason) Earth science or Chemistry? what is earth science really about? what do you learn there?? (too lazy to look it up) THANKS.

Answers:
I think you should defintely take Earth Science. It is a much easier course that is more basic. Chemistry is a lot of math and a lot of thinking. Earth Science you can find pretty much everything in your reference table. I have a similar situation as you and did bad on my Chemistry regents yet really well on Earth Science, so do yourself a huge favor and go for ES! lol Good luck though!
earth science is easier compared to chemistry.it is more or less similar to biology.u will have to deal with earth issues like global warming polution etc.its more easier than mugging up reactions and formulae
I took earth science in eighth grade and got a 94. I took the new york state chem regents just this june (sophmore year) and got an 89, which I'm mad about, because I didn't study. I also got a 94 on bio. Earth science I enjoyed because of the teacher. Depending on what teacher you have, if can be annoyingly boring or really interesting. It is all about how the earth functions...why it rains more in certain areas (other functions of weather), volcanic rocks and how they were formed, etc. You also get a reference packet like in chem (if you are in New York State like me). I think earth science is easier because sometimes it is just common sense, where in chemistry you can't figure out the number of atoms in this molecule with common sense. Also, in NY, you can retake the chem regents on August 16, so I would try that if you can before retaking a course.
