Could anyone please help me with this algebra question??

Question:It says: Use power of a quotient property to simplify the expression.

(x^3)^6 / y^5)

if you dnt understand it, than I'll explain it in words lol:
(X to the 3rd power)to the 6th power
Divided by Y to 5th power

by the way, its a fraction

Answers:
for the numerator--
-according to the exponent property, you multiply 3 and 6, which is equals to 18

for the denominator--
-leave it as it is; you can't minus x^18 and y^5 because they don't have the same variable

therefore, the answer is x^18/y^5
the answet is( x^18)/(y^5)
Okay. you first multiply 3 and 6 wich would be x^18 over y^5 that is as far as it will simplify. Good luck.
i don't think this fraction can be simplified, the two varibale are different! so the fractio would be x^18/y^5 :D hope this helped
exponents add so x^9/y^5
x^3 is x * x * x
So we could say your problem is ((x * x * x)^6) / (y^5)
But don't stop there, (x * x * x)^6 is
(x * x * x)*(x * x * x)*(x * x * x)*(x * x * x)*(x * x * x)*(x * x * x)

So we could say your problem is
( (x * x * x)*(x * x * x)*(x * x * x)*(x * x * x)*(x * x * x)*(x * x * x) ) / (y^5)

Now we can simplify by noting that there are 18 x's being multiplied:
(x^18) / (y^5)

Notice the pattern, 3 * 6 is 18... this is the "power of a quotient property" and a shortcut that will save you a lot of work if you remember it.
