Can anyone help me about if it's possible to get SCHOLARSHIP in a MONTESSORI school?

Question:I 'd like to my 5-year-old into a Montessori school, but I'm a single mom and I can't afford it.

Answers:
I would contact the American Montessori Society:

http://www.amshq.org

And the Association Montessori Internationale:

I personally do not know of any scholarships. Each school is operated differently. But that would be a good place to start.

I would then look into whether there is a Montessori Organization in your area and contact them to ask the question. If nothing else, they'll have a list of the schools in the area and you can just start calling.

Someone mentioned public schools. They're in a few places, so it is worth looking into as to whether they have them in your area.

You can also contact a training center in your area and ask the same question.

Where are you from? I might be able to point you in a good direction or two. I hope I can, at least.

Matt
It just depends on how big the school is. I worked in one in San Francisco and they did not take scholarships because it was a small operation. but you can try and see if they will help you with a payment plan. but also there are some public montessori schools that don't cost a thing, you just have a long waiting list to get into them. Just look around and see what you find. Good luck!
