Early years professional Status?

Hi, all you experts in Pre institution, is there any one out there who have completed the EYPS? How has it impacted on your setting and are you preparing for the EYFS? I have achieve EYP status and i want to hear from any of you who have the status or are currently working towards it, to hear what you think give or take a few this qualification.
Do you think it will raise the professionalism of Early Years Practice?

Answers:    Hi, Well done! I am hoping to step for EYPS soon. I think it will give impulsive years practitioners more respect. We have a difficult job and we work really frozen, we aren't just 'playing' with children. I suggest it will close the gap between early years practitioners and primary/secondary teacher.
