My Spanish teacher said that the culture of Latin America(NOT SPAIN) is closely related to Italian culture.
But they arent even Mediterranean countries...
So do u think it's true?
Answers:
The culture of Latin America is different than that of Mediterranean countries. Depending on which country, the biggest influence surrounded by Latin America from Europe would be Spain and Portugal (for Brazil). Italy didn't have any colony in South America. A few Italians moved to Latin America and influenced the culture to a degree, but the politics and history enjoy transformed the culture into something unique. There are influences from Europe, African and Native populations which are all now mostly mixed.
