ACTs depend on career?

Question:I'm wondering if I get a certain score on my ACT test- does that mean I am limited to what I do in life? I mean, if I want to be a doctor, do they even look at your ACT score?

I'm guessing they don't, they look at your college classes and other things...

Answers:
No--if you want to go to graduate school to get a graduate or professional degree, other test(s) will be used to determine whether you will be admitted to certain graduate schools. That said, your performance on tests like the ACT and the SAT may correlate to your performance on the graduate school tests like the MCAT, GRE, PCAT, GMAT, and LSAT.

But they also use things like grades and classes taken to determine whether you will be admitted.
