How about the dorm condition in Shanghai Jiaotong Uni.?

Question:One of my friends has applied for Shanghai Jiaotong University's Mandarin program. He is still debating if he wants to live in campus or rent an apartment. Anyone has any idea how the dorm condition is for foregin students in SJTU?

For foreigin students, i strong recommend him to live in school.
why?
1. Air-Condition. Shanghai is very hot in summer and without the air-condition, you can hardly sleep in the dorm(too hot and wet).
2.cheaper than rent an apartment outside.
3.network condition. you can access to internet in speed of 100m per second.
