About work experience for students?

Question:Basically, I'm not sure how to get work for my work experience - should I phone them up or go to the place I want to get work experience from and speak face to face? What sort of things should I say and stuff? Also, you know you get sheets from your school that you have to fill in? I've lost a few and I can't ask the school for any - does anyone know where I can get these sheets from on the internet or something? Thanks in advance!

Answers:
Ask a classmate for one of the sheets. Make copies of it and save them.

Call up the company and ask for human resources. Explain that you are a student and what your situation is. If they ask to see you (or if you decide to go in without calling) dress well and be ready to offer copies of your transcript.

Good luck. Relax.
