Any school loans that are made out to your name?
Question:like Sallie Mae? I forget if the loan company sends them to the school, or sends them to you in your name & residence to do as you please?
I dont know, one of my friends wanted to know and doesnt use EducationAsk.coms.

my financial aid gets sent to my school first and whatever is left is given to me each semester to do as i please...
All loans specific for education get sent to the school first. They keep what you owe for institutional charges (tuition, fees, living if on campus, etc.) and refund you the balance to use for other educational expenses. Loans sent directly to you are personal loans.
