Question:If I have two ACT scores, one with writing and one without, and the higher one is without can I send both to colleges that require the writing portion for admission to fulfill the requirement for writing but have the higher score used for admission? btw I got a 27 with writing and a 30 without if htat makes a difference at all.
Answers:
You will probably have to take it again with writing. Some schools will combine tests and use the highest scores(super scoring) but most don't.
the 30 goes in to your composite. I believe schools mainly look at your composite, then they might look at individual scores and the essay score separately. If you write good essays it probably won't be a big deal.
