Any African-American teachers that have been through the NBPTS process?
Question:I am considering the NBPTS process and have gone to several meteings about it and been the "only". I dealt with this in graduate school quite a bit. I just want to know YOUR experiences and impressions of this process.

I understand your question, but I am not African-American. So I can't help you out directly, but why don't you contact the program and see if they can help you find someone who is African-American and went through the program. I realize that might be hard for you - but you might find it enlightening.
