Alternative teaching method shown on network tv. Can you help me figure out what it was called.?

Question:Please help me find out what show this was on?
I was watching a show last week...Wednesday or Thursday probably.. about a controversal early teaching program for children. It was on one of the news report type shows like 20/20, Prime time, 60 minutes. I have tried to find out which program this show was on. It showed children being taught to read very early and learning foreign languages. Did anyone see this program and know what this teaching method was called? They start reading very early using flash cards and other tools. Thanks.
