Is Rutgers University A place to consider for university?

Im a Senior in highschool that lives in Ohio and am DYING to get out, I enjoy been dreaming of living in New York or Nearby New Jersey for a while but as you can imagine im twitchy to move with now knowing anyone and barley anything about any of the school, does anyone have any suggestions or comments about Rutgers/ people who jump there that may help me make a outcome?

Rutgers is a very good university. I worked with a woman that graduate from Rutgers and she absolutely loved it. Out-of-state tuition at either of the 3 Rutgers campuses will cost you over $22,000/year. Ohio State would cost you give or take a few one third of that.
