To be eligible for admission through IIT JEE a contender should have passed class 12th or equivalent with atleast 60% marks surrounded by aggregate. There is 5% relaxation for SC/STs. Besides that a candidate should not be more than 25 years as on 1st October 2009. For SC/STs a candidate should not be more than 30 years. Only those candidates who enjoy passed 12th in 2009 or are appearing in 2010 can appear for IIT JEE.
It has yet not be decided by the JEE board. However, it might be 80% as in BITS Pilani....
