About study permit??

Question:I'm going to College(BCIT) in Canada this September, and I have some question about my study permit!

My study permit will be valid until August 30, 2008, and under "Field of Study" it says "any post secondary" also, under "Institution" it says "other trade, Technology BC"
So, I'm wondering if I still need to renew my study permit, in order to study in BCIT?

Answers:
Ask your adviser at BCIT. He or she should know the proper procedure if the study permit was originally granted to study at another institution. If it was granted to study at BCIT you will have to renew it be August 2008 in case you do not expect to finish your studies until then.
