What grades would you consider a little kid?

Answers:
hmmm, little kids are usually 2nd and under in my opinion. I work with kids in volunteer work regularly and third graders definitely do not like to be called "little" LOL :)
But, on the other hand, it's a subjective term, relative usually to the person saying it. A 12th grader will see a 6th grader as a little kid, but a second grader will think a 6th grader is all that and a bag of chips!
You should maybe be more specific...
4th (maybe 5th) and below
8th grade
I am in 7th so I consider 3rd and Under!
In my school system elementary school is divided into "primary" and "intermediate." Primary would be considered the "little kids" because it includes kindergarten to grade 3. Intermediate is grades 4-7. Often intermediate students would have a primary "buddy" they would help read, do activities with etc.
I do not fully understand what it is you are asking, however in our home schooling years, we never really place our children in grades unless they sign up for outside classes, or Sunday School at Church.

Each child matures differently, it is not a matter of being assigned to a specific grade level.
Grade level does not determine if a child is "little"; maturity level does.

I have met children who act much older than their age, and I have met adults who act like they never left high school.

EDIT:
Even though you added that you are now in the 6th grade, the answer is the same.

EDIT:
Kimmie, rude, and disrespectful answers should never be part of answering, or commenting on any-ones questions; neither a child's, or adults.
I would say elementary age and under. 6th grade and up are considered adolescents or pre-teens.

ultima_fost ---I am embarrased at the way you answer a childs questions, at least save the rude and disrespecting answers for the adults.
in 6th your considered a preteen, but here in my school district you never stop being a kid until after you graduate high shool but in my book you stop being a kid after 6th grade, and you stop being a careless teenager in oh I say 10th grade and 11th and 12th well thats when you learn the system and you can pass your classes by sleeping.
I think by the 6th grade you are considered closer to a teen an older child.
This is the homeschooling section.

Grades aren't that important for homeschoolers.
I consider 3rd and 4th graders still little kids, some 5th graders as well.
3 graders and under
In grade six I had strong moral values. I was capable of making a meal, babysitting little kids, staying up all night with a baby, doing my own laundry, cleaning every room in the house, mopping the floors, wearing clothes that matched, counting change, teaching and reading to children younger than I was. I didn't consider myself a little kid and I resented people who talked to me like I was.

I don't consider my baby brother a little kid because he's a mature young man who is capable of acting like an adult on demand.

Yet one of my sisters is 22 and I think of her as a little kid. Because she acts like an immature spoiled brat who can't handle finances or anything for her age. So, yeah, it depends on the person and their acceptance of growing up.

If you look at adults and say, I'll do that when I grow up. You grow up and find out that it's not easier and in fact it's harder than if you had decided to grow up when you were twelve.
K, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders would be "little" I gues
primary school is kindergarten throiugh 3rd grade you are considered middle school
